A.R., a Sanofi-Aventis sales representative in California who wished to remain anonymous, as her contract forbids publicly disparaging the company, said she and her coworkers each received one of the two mass emails the company sent out that Tuesday morning. Both emails contained a code, an 800-number and a call time, either 8:00 a.m. or 8:30 a.m. The employees who were instructed to call in at the earlier time were told they could keep their jobs, but the 1,700 employees who called in at 8:30 a.m. weren’t so lucky: They were laid off by a voice on the other line that told them to stop working immediately, and had no opportunity for question or comment.

The automated call seems to have had a ripple effect in at least one employee’s life. A.R. says she was so “shaken” by the whole process and is so worried about the possibility of finding employment in this economy that she can’t sleep at all, and it’s affecting her ability to perform in job interviews.

“I’ve gone through a roller coaster of emotions, angry to panicked to sad, and the feedback I’ve gotten on interviews is that I seem too anxious, like I’m more interested in getting any job than that particular job,” she said. “I say, ‘I’m sorry, I just got laid off.’”

This brutal and inhuman Story about Jobsecurity should wake up more People and we should empower more People to take responsibility of their Life and start with their own Business.

Yes, some People fail with their own Business, but they have some control about their Life.

I hate my best friend, Tom Paredes. He takes pride in correcting my numerous mistakes. 

About 30 years ago, I gave a presentation. I told the prospect how my company had the best vitamin ever, more milligrams than the competition. And, the prospect should join my company because we had the best product.

My best friend, Tom Paredes, watched – and couldn’t wait to poke fun at me later.

So after the presentation, we were shoveling Mexican food at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Tom turns to me and tells me this story.

Imagine you join my company because my product has 100 milligrams of Vitamin C. It is the best product out there. You make your list, you sign up a few distributors and create a few customers.

But three weeks later, a brand-new company starts and their product has 101 milligrams of Vitamin C. It’s better. So what do you have to do if you want to represent the best product?

Quit.

You apologize to your distributors. Refund your customers. And you join Company B because they have the “best” product.

You make your list, you sign up a few distributors and create a few customers.

But three weeks later, a brand-new company starts and their product has 102 milligrams of Vitamin C. It’s better. So what do you have to do if you want to represent the best product?

Quit.

You apologize to your distributors. Refund your customers. And you join Company C because they have the “best” product.

But three weeks later, a brand-new company starts and their product has 103 milligrams of Vitamin C plus a much cooler brochure. Everything is better. So what do you have to do if you want to represent the best product?

You can never build a long-term residual income if you start all over every three weeks.

Ouch. Tom was right again.

But he didn’t stop there. He just couldn’t resist rubbing it in a little more.

Tom did the same story about compensation plans. He told me how I would have to switch every time a new company came out with a different percentage on level three, etc.

And that is how I learned my lesson.

Don’t sponsor people based upon our wonderful product or based upon our wonderful compensation plan.

Instead, sponsor people based upon you and what you can do for them. (And that’s yet another reason to start becoming skilled in this business.)

And he was right. The business doesn’t work.

So I had to tell him a story.

You look for the best car for you, and you purchase the car.

Then, you never learned how to drive your car.

You never take driving lessons, you never go out driving with your parents, you never read the owner’s manual. You don’t know what the pedals are like on the floor or where to put the key into the ignition.

You only made a few attempts at “trial and error” . . . you yelled at your car and said,

“Drive! Drive!”

And your car didn’t drive itself.

So now you looked for a network marketing business that is good for you.

You purchased the business and joined.

But you never learned how to make your business work.

You only made a few attempts at “trial and error” . . . you said the wrong words to a few friends and two cold leads.

And your business didn’t build itself. Your business didn’t work.

* You didn’t READ the Books about attraction Marketing.

* You didn’t learn how to use Social Media.

* You didn’t learn how prospects make decisions in their minds.

* You didn’t learn how to stop sounding like a sleazy salesman.

* You didn’t learn any of the “sequences of words” to communicate directly with the prospects.

* You didn’t learn how to use the differences between needs and wants.

* You didn’t learn where and how to locate the best prospects.

* You didn’t learn how to create prospects instantly on demand with effective sentences.

* You didn’t learn the sequences of words top leaders use.

* You didn’t learn how to open a presentation.

* You didn’t learn how to build instant rapport with anyone.

* You didn’t learn how to use word pictures.

* You didn’t learn how to talk directly to the subconscious mind of the prospect.

* You didn’t learn why prospects tell you “No” when they should be agreeing with you.

* You didn’t learn the first things you must say to cold prospects.

* You didn’t learn how to locate and create leaders.

* You didn’t learn why goal-setting doesn’t work.

* You didn’t learn how to motivate people.

* You didn’t learn how to get your prospects’ unconscious minds to work for them.

* You didn’t learn how to use stories to bypass the two mind filters of prospects.

* You didn’t learn how to quickly capture your prospects’ imagination and attention.

* You didn’t learn how to . . .

So stop blaming the business.

The business doesn’t work.

You work.

Don’t blame the “stupid” prospects, the weather, the economy, the product pricing, the compensation plan or your sponsor.

If you want to drive the new car you purchased - learn to drive.
